Before your visit

No insurance, insurance or Medicaid: how each visit starts

The first thing we ask is how you plan to pay, so we can tell you what happens next and what you get in writing.

Fees set by income

Four steps, and nothing starts without your say

This is how we work out what you pay if you don't have insurance.

  1. 01

Tell us who lives in your home

When you call or arrive, tell us how many people live with you and where the family's income comes from.

  2. 02

    Bring proof of income

A pay stub, a letter from your employer or a tax return will do. If you have none of these, ask what else we accept.

  3. 03

We place you on a level

With that, the front desk places your family on a level. Each level has its own fees, and you can ask for the list of levels in writing.

  4. 04

You get the cost in writing

Before any treatment, we give you in writing what each step costs at your level. You take it home and decide without rushing.

We opened for families who wonder what a visit will cost before they even call. If you have dental insurance or Medicaid, we help you see what comes next; what we don't know about your plan, we tell you, and we confirm it before the visit.

Hilario P.A patient's son

Questions

Before you call

Do you see patients in Spanish?

Yes. Esperanza, Dr. Villalobos and Dr. Salgado speak Spanish and English. Dr. Leyva speaks English and some Spanish, and someone on the team who speaks Spanish is always in the room. This site is also in English.

I don't have insurance. Can I come?

Yes. Tell us how many people live in your home and where the income comes from, and we place you on a level of the fee schedule. Before any treatment you get the cost in writing.

Do you see patients with Medicaid or CHIP?

Call us before you come. We confirm whether we see patients with your coverage, and we promise nothing until it's confirmed.

What do I bring to my first visit?

A photo ID, proof of income if you don't have insurance, and your plan card if you have one. The health history is filled in on our private portal or at the clinic, not by message.

Will you tell me the cost before we start?

Yes. Any treatment comes with the cost in writing, and we don't start until you say yes.

Request a visit, and ask about the cost first

Send us a request or message us on WhatsApp, and Esperanza replies with a time. Please don't include health details; if it's urgent, call us.
